Sarah Driver-Jowitt, Executive Co-ordinator Sarah studied community development management in South Africa. She has worked in South Africa, Denmark and the UK as a project manager for an NGO consultancy organisation and on EU education programmes. Previously, She has worked as a business consultant in Denmark, and a national marketing manager for an media company in the UK before returning to charity.
Sarah was appointed to Facing the World shortly after its inception and is responsible for the general management, fundraising, PR and volunteer co-ordination as well as the day to day care of the patients. This includes a strong focus on confidence building and social skills development.
Matthew Braithwaite, Charity Administrator.
Matthew graduated from the University of South Australia in 2004 and prior to Facing the World, had been working as Project Manager. Matthew has always been passionate about helping children in need. He was appointed as the charity administrator in early 2007.
Matthew is responsible for general administration, bookkeeping and donor database management in addition to a great swath of other responsibilities in the day to day office management and practicalities of caring for our patients.
